Quality Roofing, Inc is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our continuously growing Roofing and General Contracting company. This candidate must be a motivated self-starter that will take initiative to complete tasks and is very detail oriented.
The purpose of this position is to manage projects from inception to conclusion to ensure objectives are met within boundaries of company policy, company standards, and contract specifications.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:
- Organize proposals and scope of work from the office and sales to understanding complete of scope of work related to the request and verify scope of work, goals, design and schedule to be completed within set budget and required quality.
- Serve as point of contact and advisor from initial contact to the completion of the project with potential and current customers, subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers that reflect and support company vision, mission, and standards that meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
- Initiate and maintain contact with customers, subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project activities.
- Manage project budget and resource allocation.
- Constantly monitor project and report progress, problems and solutions of project.
- Communicate as needed in AccuLynx Software and participate continuing education, training, updates and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project goals.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, team members and clients.
- Provide all subcontractor information to administrative staff prior to project start date to ensure proper approval of insurances and coverages.
- Approve subcontractor, supplier, and internal purchases/bills for accuracy.
- Approve team member time sheets weekly for projects supervised.
- Conduct risk assessments: report identified risks, provide recommendations for mitigation of risk to the Safety Director and management if incident arises.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm with some flexibility regarding hours. Would need to work overtime and weekends when required.
Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in outside weather conditions including extreme heat. Physical demands are required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, however some out of the area and overnight travel may be required.
Mandatory Requirement: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Preferred Requirements but not mandatory: Bilingual (Spanish) and a construction knowledge background.
