Marketing is responsible for the NBA’s global marketing operation, directing brand development, strategy, and advertising of league-wide marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives across the NBA, WNBA and NBA G League. The department includes Market Research and Analytics, Advertising and Media, Digital Marketing Strategy, Events Strategy, Customer Data Strategy, and Brand Management. As an International Advertising & Content Specialist, you will work cross-functionally with the Advertising, Brand Strategy, Creative Services, Content, Social Media and regional Marketing teams to support creative development and handle projects for global creative assets. A key focus will be on implementing our brand platform and executing it across international markets. Major Responsibilities: - You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with your international colleagues across seven regions (Africa, Asia, Canada, China, EME, India, Latin America) - Work with NY-based Advertising & Content teams and our Regional Marketing teams to develop and execute assets that bridge global alignment and regional relevance - Articulate the overall brand strategy as way to integrate and optimize international touch points, helping develop storylines that drive and maintain global excitement around tentpoles - You will care for timelines, production prep, approvals, going to shoots - Run asset localization efforts and delivery of those assets to proper departments - Collaborate with both regional and US based Social Media team to plan and align creative with brand messages - Handle global coordination of cross-regional programs and initiatives (e.g. Influencer Program) - Work in juxtaposition with regions’ Marketing and Content teams to develop localized content to be used across digital/social platforms - Work with agencies and internal Creative Services on the development of regional assets - Track metrics for each campaign and work with the regions to develop post campaign reporting - Run payment and budget tracking for projects - Consolidate and share standard methodologies from all geographic regions as well as from the industry and other elite organizations Required Experience & Knowledge: - Understanding of international markets and various cultures - 3+ years of experience in working with advertising and media agencies, preferably in a global or international account - Understanding of the digital, social and creative landscape internationally - Video, advertising and/or social media production experience - Strong project management skills with an attention to detail - Ability to work independently but thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environment - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Educational Background Required: - Bachelor's degree required We Consider Applicants For All Positions On The Basis Of Merit, Qualifications And Business Needs, And Without Regard To Race, Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex, Gender Identity, Age, Disability, Alienage Or Citizenship Status, Ancestry, Marital Status, Creed, Genetic Predisposition Or Carrier Status, Sexual Orientation, Veteran Status, Familial Status, Status As A Victim Of Domestic Violence Or Any Other Status Or Characteristic Protected By Applicable Federal, State, Or Local Law.
