Job Summary
The Head of Finance is a key executive role responsible for overseeing all financial and strategic planning aspects of a growing residential and commercial real estate company. This is a CFO-level position with full ownership of finance operations and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
You'll lead financial operations across a multi-entity, multi-state portfolio, partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive profitability, improve financial systems, and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across multiple entities and states.
- Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and operational control.
- Implement scalable financial systems, reporting automation, and process improvements.
- Support real estate development, acquisitions, and asset management through financial modeling and analysis.
- Manage capital structure, including relationships with banks and investors.
- Provide strategic insights to the CEO and leadership team on business performance and market risks.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations in MA, NH, and ME.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7-10+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally in real estate, construction, or property management.
- Proven track record managing finance in a multi-entity environment
- Experience supporting strategic growth, debt/equity financing, and investor communications.
- Strong working knowledge of real estate finance, leasing, and asset management is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Location
This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Lowell or North Andover, MA office, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. Candidates must be located within commuting distance.
