Essemtec USA is a sales and services subsidiary of Essemtec AG, a division of publicly traded Nano Dimension (NNDM). Essemtec designs and manufactures All-In-One Paste Jetting, SMT Placement, & Dispensing machinery servicing a variety of industries including Automotive, Military, Medical, Consumer, Aerospace, & Lighting. Essemtec additionally provides software, peripherals, and services, working with industry leaders and customers on innovative research and development, defining future needs.
In this role reporting to the General Manager Essemtec AG, you will effectively manage the Sales team in the Americas region (USA, Canada, Mexico, South America) including but not limited to MbO target setting and evaluation, regular exchange with the team, support of team at key customers, evaluation/proposal of the commissions/bonuses and growing sales of machines, services, and spares in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a hands-on manager to the Sales team in the Americas (focus on USA, Canada and Mexico).
- Select and manage the partner and agent network in the region.
- Set and evaluate MbO targets, maintain regular exchange with the team, support the team at key customers, evaluation/proposal of the commissions/bonuses.
- Grow sales of machines, services, and spares in the region.
- Hire, train, and lead AMER sales team in the US and other regions as necessary.
- Represent Essemtec in the Americas at customers, shows and in articles/videos.
- Establish and control the annual budget for sales in the Americas.
- Manage and control the "Top Line" in the P&L and the investments in the Americas.
- Regular reporting to GM Essemtec and on NNDM level.
- Regular exchange with Directors EMEA and APAC regarding global customers.
- Collaborate with Service Manager Americas, Application team and all support functions in Americas (finance, HR, logistics, et al.) and in Switzerland (marketing).
- Collaborate with external partners for marketing.
- Collaborate with site manager for premises and NNDM group activities (eg, bundle deals).
- Ensure the Site Manager and General Manager Essemtec provide the corresponding infrastructure for customer demos in the corresponding countries (can also be at partner sites, eg, in Mexico).
- Arrange demos and customer acceptance tests in the region, in collaboration with application team.
Requirements:
- Excellent product knowledge on Essemtec products, customer demands and application knowledge.
- Several years' experience in leading a team and demonstrated management skills.
- Ability to lead teams in different countries, different cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in building and growing a partner network.
- Follow protocols to effectively propose payout of MbO bonus and commissions as well as hiring and separations to HR Americas and GM Essemtec.
- Proficiency level in English, knowledge of Spanish an asset.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally 70% or more.
- Local communication to partners and at shows (in cooperation with global marketing).
