The Position Summary: The Accounting Assistant's primary role is to manage accounts payable and assist with administrative tasks in the Finance Office. The Accounts Payable role (80%) will be the primary position while the Administrative Assistant role (20%) will support routine office and general duties.
Your workday will be a mix of collaboration and independent work with readily available support. You will play an integral role in the Finance Department!
This is a full-time, in-person (Monday - Friday) at our Hubbard, Oregon location.

- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with integrated ERP, Epicor10 or higher a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Ability to work & contribute collaboratively and independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Willing to approach circumstances as opportunities
- Keen attention to detail and organization

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Access to reliable transportation
The Task Highlights:
- Complete purchasing/payment cycle by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices.
- Ensure accuracy of invoices by analyzing documentation for coding, reviewing reports, and reconciliation to purchase orders and record entries in a multi-company organization.
- Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, and/or payment discrepancies
- Manage vendors in ERP system by collecting W-9's, entering and maintaining up to date records.
- Report year-end totals to assist with 1099 preparation.
- Collect, monitor, and manage third party Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Maintain historical records by filing documents and printing/scanning invoices.
- Greet, direct, and sign-in visitors.
- Daily mail pickup, in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed monthly), at our other manufacturing location - 4 miles away.
- Sort, screen, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- General paper and electronic filing.
- Other office administrative duties as needed.
