Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Technical Ariba Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring SAP Ariba modules and developing integrations with other enterprise systems. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Configure SAP Ariba modules (eg, Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle) to align with business requirements and optimize user experience.
- Design, implement, and maintain procurement workflows, approval hierarchies, and buying catalogs to facilitate efficient purchasing operations.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Ariba and other enterprise systems using tools such as Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) or Middleware platforms.
- Troubleshoot data synchronization issues, ensuring compliance with standards and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT, to streamline P2P processes and enhance overall procurement efficiency.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing configuration or integration challenges and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit requirements, and data security standards to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
- Create custom reports and dashboards in Ariba to track procurement metrics, analyze performance, and support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP Ariba, with a strong focus on configuration and integration.
- Proficiency in configuring Ariba modules, including Procurement, Sourcing, and Supplier Lifecycle.
- Experience with Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) or other Middleware platforms for system integrations.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices within a P2P framework.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboards to create custom metrics and track procurement performance.
Preferred, but not required
- Certification in SAP Ariba or related procurement technologies.
- Experience in data analytics and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of additional enterprise systems (eg, ERP systems) and their integration with Ariba.
