SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our B2B retail expansion, focusing on driving revenue growth through partnerships with major mass retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco). This executive will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact sales strategies, strengthening key retailer relationships, and leading a high-performance sales team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership:
--Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy targeting Walmart, Target, and Costco to drive revenue growth and market share.
--Establish and manage high-level relationships with key buyers, category managers, and stakeholders within these retailers.
--Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights to stay ahead in the retail landscape.
--Drive pricing, product placement, and promotional strategies in alignment with retail partner needs. - Business Development & Revenue Growth:
--Expand existing retail accounts and acquire new business within the mass retail channel.
--Negotiate contracts, terms, and trade agreements with key retail partners.
--Monitor sales performance metrics and develop actionable insights to optimize revenue streams.
--Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. - Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
--Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team.
--Work closely with finance, operations, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
--Develop forecasting models to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 15+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the home textile and kitchen goods sector.
- A strong history of scaling sales and driving business growth across mass-market and E-commerce channels.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with key retail stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading sales teams and collaborating with cross-functional entities, including marketing and product development.
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with launching and scaling brands within major retail environments, particularly Target and Walmart.
- A hands-on approach that balances high-level strategy with day-to-day execution.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and values that focus on community impact.
- Experience thriving in a high-growth, entrepreneurial atmosphere, characterized by urgency and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
- A solid background in consumer goods, ideally related to home or personal care sectors.
- Track record of managing key retail relationships successfully.
