Position: Tax Manager
Location: West Chester, OH
Salary: $75,000 - $120,000
Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning functions for a variety of clients throughout the greater Cincinnati area. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax planning advice to enhance the overall financial performance of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and filing of business tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring optimal tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
- Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate and lead tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax considerations into business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or tax-related roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and business tax returns.
- Experience working with small businesses
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
