In just 18 to 24 months, you will acquire the knowledge required to champion our products and services in a new or existing operating location.
A willingness to relocate is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain a deep understanding of the wholesale distribution industry.
- Acquire practical experience in sales, business development, customer service, and operations through hands-on training and projects.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the market.
- Effectively promote and advocate for American Metals Supply's products and services.
- Develop leadership and management skills to prepare for future roles within the organization.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Reside near St. Louis or Fenton, Missouri; Springfield, IL; or Indianapolis, IN, or be willing to relocate to one of these locations for the duration of the training program.
- Willingness to relocate to other operating locations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field. Applicants with degrees in progress will also be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, sometimes in environments exposed to natural elements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the HVAC industry.
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Working knowledge of Epicor Eclipse Software.
