The Rush University College of Nursing (https://www.rushu.rush.edu/college-nursing) invites applications and nominations for the position of faculty member for the Pediatric Acute Care NursePractitioner Program within the Department of Women, Children and Family Nursing. Expectations and emphasis for this position include teaching, student advising, service to the University and related scholarly activity. Rush is renowned for its Practitioner-Teacher model and faculty practice opportunities can be accommodated. The Program is ranked #1 for 2019 by U.S. News & World Report. Students entering the Program graduate with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). The appointment of academic rank and salary are dependent on prior experience and achievements. This is a 12-month faculty position.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

Position qualifications include:
· Earned doctorate (e.g., DNP, Ph.D.).
· National certification (or eligibility for national certification) as a Pediatric Acute Care
· Nurse Practitioner.
· At least two years of appropriate nursing experience.
