Full time Business Development Communications

Job Description

If your passion is media relations and public opinion research, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. Join us, and help us communicate data that changes the world.

While you won’t be responsible for developing the content, you’ll be the subject-matter expert in strategic communications and advise internal and external partners on promoting reports and findings. Since the bulk of the communications will focus on data, you need to be an expert in understanding the power of data and know what will speak to global readers. Your communication talents will set the stage for changing how people think, how policies are created, and how organizations and governments are run.

Who we want:

Influential partners. Can you get people to do things for you? Can you create new public relations opportunities by building a network in the public-sector media landscape? We hope so – these are integral parts of this role. Whether it’s contacting media outlets to support an upcoming press release or advising a client how to move forward on a communication campaign, your persuasiveness encourages people to follow your advice.

Master communicators. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and when it comes to communicating press releases and report launches, you know how to make the perfect splash. You’re polished yet edgy, sophisticated yet relatable — and the way you communicate data stands out in a crowd. You are comfortable connecting with audiences in both North America and Europe.

Natural orchestrators. People? Processes? Products? You’ve got it covered. We’ll count on your project management talents to integrate timelines and partners seamlessly, regardless of how many things you’re juggling or what the changing media environment throws at you.

Strategic thinkers. Do you see the bigger picture when it comes to media and public relations? Can you see a story in data? Do you recognize how larger economic and public policy trends relate to clients’ communications abilities and needs? And most importantly, can you get readers interested in the data? If so, we want to meet you.
