Description of the Position: The main function of this position is to provide support to the different areas of the HR Department, including but not limited to administrative functions. Some responsibilities include: Responding to general HR inquiries made by The HEAT Group staff via e-mail, telephone and in-person. Assist in creating, maintaining, and auditing all employee files, employee shadow files, contract files and intern files. Assist the Recruiters with such tasks as making new hire packets, insuring new hire paperwork is complete for all new hires, and assisting with scheduling interviews. Support Benefits Specialist with benefits administration; such as benefits filing, making benefits packets, assisting with mailings and enrollment meetings.
Must have solid Human Resources knowledge or experience. Excellent interpersonal skills plus strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
