This position will assist in the management of MPM's Collection Management System database (CMS). This is a 15-hour per week Part-time 1 position that is being created as part of a succession plan for our current Collections Data Coordinator. We are interested in qualified internal candidates who wish to serve in a part-time role and move into a full-time capacity targeted for late 2019.
This role will support Collection Managers with their efforts in data entry of collections catalog records and documentation. You will assist with CMS modifications and administration, and document mapping to and from external data sources. You will also consult on the creation of CMS procedures and the training for Museum Digitization efforts.
Document and make recommendations on mapping of data fields by working with Curatorial Section, Registrar and IES Staff
Assist with data imports and exports as well as the creation of reports
