This position is responsible for the income statement reporting cycle. Primarily this includes revenue and expense review, handling the inputs of certain other income / expense and overhead, creating and analyzing income statement reports and providing analysis for management, corporate and audit. This also includes supervising and reviewing the work of three staff level analysts.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Supervise and approve staff work

  • Create and review corporate financial submissions

  • Create and analyze income statements for management

  • Manage internal / external audit requests

  • Coordinate and respond to corporate requests and queries

  • Manage quarterly review process

  • Ensure SOX compliance

  • Review intercompany reconciliations and related party reporting

  • Coordinate and perform user testing for IT projects

  • Post and review payroll, residuals and prepaid allocations


The ideal candidate is a CPA with a bachelor's degree in Accounting with public accounting and entertainment industry experience.

Other requirements include:

  • Highly proficient with Excel

  • Oracle and Cognos experience preferred, proficiency with financial systems a must

  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and clients

  • Entertainment Industry experience preferred

  • Manage and develop staff
