CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).


The National Digital Sales Manager will work closely with CBS National Spot Television Sales Managers, Account Executives and leaderships teams at the local Owned & Operated Television Stations to grow existing business and generate new digital revenue streams.


The National Digital Sales Manager will assist and support the national spot offices and local station national sales managers in the strategy and execution of digital media campaigns to exceed budget goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create media plans and customize sales proposals and presentations for local/national/multi-market opportunities

  • Assist CBS Television Stations sales and marketing teams in developing integrated media campaigns

  • Point-of-contact for national spot digital RFPs and opportunities that include:

  • Multi-market/National opportunities

  • Pre and Post sales management

  • New business/CBS360 Clients

  • Require an in-depth knowledge of the digital media space

  • Communicating with sales team and client regarding proposed revisions, campaign optimization and delivery

  • Support sales teams in executing sponsorships around major CBS initiatives (NFL Football, College Basketball, Grammy Awards, Primetime Programming, etc)

  • Function as a digital marketing expert for the CBS Local Digital Media portfolio of assets

  • Lead/attend client or agency presentations as needed

  • Assist in prospecting of new clients

  • Assist in the review and evaluation of new digital partnerships, products and services


  • Knowledge of the online & traditional media business

  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to handle multiple projects at once

  • Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent listening and presentation skills

  • Team oriented

  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Understanding of Wide Orbit, DFP, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, comScore, Scarborough, Adobe Creative Suite CS, and other web related applications a plus


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in advertising/media field. Traditional media experience (especially TV) is a plus

  • BS / BA degree required

  • Dedicated and driven work ethic, excellent writing skills, and outstanding computer skills
