About the job

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be a critical member of the Global Functions Finance team, providing financial and problem-solving insights, and business planning partnership to Google Finance leaders. You will partner with leaders on financial decisions and implications of business strategies, investments, trade-offs, efficiency and scale initiatives, including process and systems transformation.

Google’s Global Functions Finance team helps Google remain the best place to work by partnering with the teams that define Google’s amazing culture (Real Estate and Workplace Services, People Operations) and keep us legal and accountable (Legal/Policy/Trust and Safety, Finance, Communications). The Global Functions Finance team partners with these teams as they drive strategies to support the Googlers.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
