Job Description

The Operations Manager will lead the planning, facilitation, tracking, and monitoring of operational projects associated with Y-USA’s service delivery structure. Responsibilities include management and implementation of project work to support all department and network partner initiatives. The Operations Manager will provide support within Safety & Risk, the Thriving Y Team, Alliance Partners, Service Delivery Partners (SDPs), Thought Leader Cohorts (TLC), external partners, as well as any other department groups. This position is highly collaborative and will ensure work-related projects are being managed through a systematic approach.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; Master’s degree is preferred; Concentration in Business Operations or related field.

•Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing projects is required.

•Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a portfolio of projects is required.

•Strong knowledge in Salesforce (Y Portfolio), MOYP, Link, Smart Sheet, Form Stack and other operational software.

•Demonstrated experience with maintaining strict confidentiality.

•Proven ability to evaluate, prioritize, and execute proposed operational projects.

•Experience working with all levels of the organization, including senior executives, senior leaders, and staff teams is preferred.

•Demonstrated excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.

•Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills are required.

•Demonstrated experience in standard Project Management methodology.

•Demonstrated experience with independent decision-making, good judgment and ability to execute multiple assignments at any given time is required.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

•Advanced skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

•Advanced PC skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to create executive level presentations and reports.

•Demonstrated ability in achieving consensus amongst a group and resolving conflict effectively.

Essential Functions

•Manage part-time employment opportunities for the National Vacancy List via MOYP for all local Ys.

•Implement processes and systems to support the SDPY groups with their proactive project work.

•Provide administrative support to TLCs, to ensure appropriate tracking and mapping of Innovation Flow.

•Support the Thriving Y Team in navigating the intersections with other network partners.

•Develop and reinforce document and knowledge management strategies amongst the various network related efforts.

•Identify, document and share status updates with appropriate stakeholders.

•Ensure deliverables are achieved within budget, scope, quality, schedule, and design constraints.

•Maintain clear communication and accountability with all stakeholders.

•Collect and prepare data and analytics to support the network.

•Assist teams with synthesizing data and trends as needed.

•Maintain an agreed upon communication plan with all the various partners.

•Continually improve business processes, systems, and operations for network partners and Y-USA Movement Services and Movement Advancement staff.

•Performs other duties as assigned.
