Pay Rate: $25-$26/hr.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

  • Works directly with the Ops Manager and General Manager to perform venue duties
  • Oversee all daily department tasks that need to be completed to ensure efficiency
  • Organize, facilitate, and advance all artist meet and greet packages and tour activations
  • Follow up with all departments to ensure that staffing standards are met
  • Assist with pre-season and post-season installations including tents, restrooms, fencing, and other rental equipment, etc.
  • Serve as a point person for third party vendors
  • Must ensure that all outstanding tasks are handled either personally or through delegation to other staff members when appropriate
  • Assist with all day of show operations with Operations Manager and General Manager
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members
  • Any duties assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Candidate is a proven leader with strong management and communications skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is required.
  • Must have demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with a large number of staff- ideally experience managing Security, Ticket Takers and Ushers.
  • Experience using Workday and ABI systems.
  • Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude.
  • Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie.
  • High School Diploma required.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a live music environment
  • College diploma in related field

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Role requires extended hours in addition to working nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$20.00 USD - $25.00 Hourly
