Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or partnerships.
  • 5 years of experience in the gaming industry or gaming functions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in stakeholder management and ability to focus on synthesizing viewpoints, empathy for differing opinions.
  • Strong expertise in strategic thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to drive decision velocity at scale and high quality and to influence technical and business stakeholders across diverse teams at all levels.
  • Ability to manipulate data and work with analytics tools and turn them into insightful business recommendations and apply those insights to optimize strategy. (SQL, Data Studio useful but not essential).
  • Ability to lead large, complex, and cross-functional projects.

About the Job

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of strategic programs, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and processes to drive long-term developer ecosystem success and capitalize on key business goals and challenges.

You will be the key interface between the Global Games Partnerships team and the wider Play Partnerships Strategy Operations team. You’ll be a primary lead in articulating global strategy, setting portfolio and programs to address the highest priority opportunities and challenges of the team and the developers it supports. You will represent the Global Games team, ensuring its needs are met by various operational support teams in terms of tooling, training, reporting, technical expertise and resourcing.

You'll use business acumen, leadership skills and gaming industry knowledge to support the Games Partnerships leadership teams to grow developers' businesses, develop/negotiate innovative agreements, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and drive transformational business outcomes, improve our users experience, and enhance the quality and safety of the Play ecosystem.

You’ll build market and vertical expertise within our Games business, conduct data-oriented analysis, synthesize information and present insights to support strategic initiatives. Your role will operate both at the Global Games team level, and global executive level to influence future product roadmaps/rollouts, policies and resourcing, which will require you to be a key contributor to annual planning.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with Global Games Managing Director and Team Leads to identify key opportunities to move the needle of the Global Games business, ranging from the long-term vertical strategy development to the short-term fire-fighting efforts to mitigate regulatory and reputational risks. 
  • Define and execute strategies to help Global Games leads solve the complex problems and make tangible impacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market dynamics within the Global Games industry to help define strategies in terms of Partnership activity and resource planning. 
  • Define and drive team level OKR reporting, ensuring the team is aligned with global business objectives and are well placed to attain ambitious annual targets, providing support and/or escalation as appropriate. 
  • Work with the cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, PR) to lead complex cross functional projects.
