Job Description

Responsible for end to end delivery of multiple digital sales programs on the web, mobile, app and cloud based platforms for eMed. Responsibilities include online store, customer experience, and omni-channel programs for prospective and existing account sales, and promotions. Working closely with sales and marketing, sets the company’s strategic direction for online sales; oversees the daily operational activities of ecommerce and provides thoughtful analysis of market trends, strategies on how to increase brand awareness, insight on increasing online sales, and ways to improve customer acquisition and retention.

The Director of Ecommerce should ensure the scalability of the company’s online sales by driving the appropriate technology adoption in support of reducing customer acquisition costs, increasing average order value, extending customer lifetime value, and implementing promotional programs to achieve these objectives.


  • End-to-end Delivery & Support responsibility for all eMed e-commerce solutions & Systems
  • Delivery responsibility for Digital Marketing, Sales enablement & Omni programs delivery on web, app & other cloud platforms
  • Responsible for addressing production defects; fixing, support and troubleshooting of various eCommerce platforms
  • Establish objectives, create road maps, and align with key partners and stakeholders to ensure delivery of eMed company goals
  • Lead technology direction, facilitate key decision points, convert requirements into working product outcomes and drive integration with various eMed and vendor systems
  • Lead the design and architecture support for tactical and transformative ecommerce 24x7 solutions
  • Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) implementation including ideation, business case, architecture, design, stakeholder management, development, trials and delivery using industry standard processes and tools
  • Partner with the design team to create and optimize UI, UX, usability and functional experience of digital sales and cross channel experience
  • Lead design of load and scalability testing and successful execution of testing & tuning
  • Deliver results within budget, time, quality and strategic and tactical key performance goals
  • Document and comply with software quality, data security and compliance processes
  • Create proposals and present effectively to a diverse audience; manage stakeholders
  • Hire, retain, develop high performing motivated talent and leaders while managing teams in both direct and matrix structures
