Job Description

As a program manager within the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) program management team, you will be responsible for influencing, driving and executing task force, Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and DEI related program management activities across the global Design function in support of our Tech DEI strategy and action plan.
 
In this role, you will partner closely with leadership, Global Diversity and cross functional stakeholders to mobilize and execute DEI initiatives which align us toward the goal of driving equity and inclusion, and increasing representation of underrepresented people (URP) across broader Meta.
 
This role will report to the Global Director of Tech DEI Program Management and will be located in the NORAM region with domestic and international travel as required.
 
Design Responsibilities
  • Translate data insights with business and cross functional partners to drive action plan efforts. Be able to explain data sharing philosophy and how we hold leaders accountable to actions tied to the DEI Tech strategy.
  • Proactively manage expectations of all interested stakeholders: define clear program roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates, provide frequent program updates, identify and communicate risks and adjustments to overall program, and ensure commitments are delivered while removing obstacles.
  • Design, execute and manage DEI initiatives/programs in consultation with DBPs, inclusive of bespoke programming approved to meet the unique needs of the organization or function.
  • Support BRGs to stay aligned with the MRG programming and policy guidelines.
  • Engage with the BRGs, help organize and drive BRG efforts in alignment with Meta Resource Group policies.
  • Amplify BRG sentiment and provide relevant updates/feedback influential to DEI approach.
  • Partner with internal program owners and cross-functional teams to increase program awareness and engagement.
  • Report on accountability metrics (scorecards/audits/reporting tools) to track progress on key metrics & goals.
  • Deliver on the DEI communications plan in partnership with DBPs and customize to reflect the business.
  • Design and deliver processes that are repeatable, consistent, scalable for variable audiences.
  • Establish and foster strong working relationships with various global stakeholders and teams, ensuring that programs foster an inclusive environment of a broader ally community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management
  • 3+ years of experience with developing, tracking and reporting qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Building data analysis and presentations. Explaining complex data to clients
  • 2+ years of work related experience focused on driving action in diversity and inclusion efforts
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges in a complex workplace including KPIs and ROIs
  • Program management skills and knowledge with a demonstrated track record of effective execution, delivering business value, and leading organizational change
  • Experience leading and executing multiple work streams and/or programs simultaneously
  • Experience solving complex problems and executing on multiple tasks in a fast paced and global environment
  • Time management skills and proven track record of prioritizing and removing obstacles to achieve deadlines and ideal outcomes
  • Interpersonal experience, including influence, relationship building and collaboration experience within a global, cross-functional team in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
  • Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational experience
  • Knowledge of operational challenges and solving problems in various areas of business
  • Experience in communication strategy development and effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the technology industry or other engineering organizations
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Advanced knowledge of G Suite tools
