The role of the Program Specialist is to launch, monitor, and manage Pathways programs using data to guide decision-making and execution. Your internal stakeholders will be the Amazon Career Choice program management teams and Career Choice participants. Your external stakeholders will be postsecondary school partners such as community colleges and skills training organizations. You will be the primary point of contact for implementation-related matters for a set of school partners, including meeting with them on a regular basis to provide updates on our work and get updates on their work with our associates. You will also work to support our employer hiring partners/clients, both internal and external to Amazon. Finally, you will be continuously working on projects to improve the ways in which we collectively do our work, including creating or improving processes/systems, and writing or updating SOPs for your peers.
Key job responsibilities
• Support the implementation of programs, working closely with educational partners to deliver quality career pathways programs to Associates
• Collect and analyze data and feedback to improve our programs and drive efficiencies with a focus on creating scalable processes
• Research and resolve complex escalations for Associates
Fluency in written and spoken English
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in demonstrating the ability in systems thinking and process improvement
3+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience
2+ years’ experience in a project or program coordination role
Proficient with Salesforce, Sharepoint, and/or Quicksights
Fluent in several languages among the following list: German, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, and/or Slovak
Related experience in the higher education and the workforce development space
