Job Description

Match Group is looking for a Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our People Team! As a member of our team, you will provide technical and analytical support to the design, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs at Match Group to ensure they are market competitive and align to Match Group’s strategy. 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Participate in the design, analysis, budgeting and implementation of compensation programs
  • Evaluate and analyze compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation
  • Partner with the People and Talent Acquisition team to align new and existing positions by reviewing appropriate salary, bonus, internal equity and job leveling
  • Administer benchmark and pay equity audits
  • Utilize analytical insights to develop and present meaningful recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Develop, analyze and maintain complex Excel reports to support data analysis
  • Assist with the review and selection of compensation systems to conduct analysis and data analytics
  • Work with HRIS team to ensure that the HRIS system meets compensation needs
  • Maintain continued awareness of, and evaluate emerging trends and issues affecting, compensation programs
  • Develop internal communications
  • Partner with People team to serve as SME and develop training programs on compensation at Match Group
  • Assemble materials for presentation to the Compensation Committee
  • Coordinate with finance to prepare accurate bonus accrual
  • Performs other related duties as assigned 

Our Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field
  • At least five years of progressive experience in implementation and administration of compensation programs
  • Ability to independently solve problems and challenge the status quo
  • Strategic thinking ability – broad understanding of implications and potential results of decisions and actions, ability to anticipate issues and outcomes. 
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and develop simple solutions for complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated presentation development skills; ability to convey complex material succinctly and clearly and tailor messages as needed
  • Proficiency using MS Office Tools, including Excel, Word and Power Point
