The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator of Kinesiology Laboratories, non-tenure, administrative faculty, 9-month position for the School of Community Health Sciences. The Coordinator of Kinesiology Laboratories will oversee the laboratory facilities for the School of Community Health Sciences’ Kinesiology Specialization at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). This position will be responsible for the development of instructional methods and delivery. The Coordinator will plan and implement the operation of both instructional and research laboratories, administer departmental budgets for laboratory operation and maintenance. The Coordinator will support research activities and provide guidance in new research to collect data and conduct experiments. This position will be responsible for the supervision of student workers. The Coordinator reports to the Lead, Kinesiology Specialization.
Master's Degree and one (1) year of related experience
Related Experience: Exercise/physiology, and/or biomechanics, and/or athletic training/injury, and/or sport medicine , teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels , Laboratory experience as a student or researcher in laboratory setting
-Knowledge of Exercise/Physiology or Biomechanics
-Teaching at any level.
-Laboratory experience as a student or research in laboratory setting.
