In the role as Vice President, Innovation working in Milwaukee, WI, you will be part of the North America Supply Chain Leadership Team. This leadership role will drive the technical formulation and creation of new products and an innovation pipeline. Partners with EHS, Technical Services and Procurement teams on the operationalization of innovation and identifying and implementing cost optimization initiatives. As a leader, you are also expected to develop future vision and strategies and will provide input and technical expertise to the Strategy & Emerging Growth team in creating and driving our Long Range Plan (LRP).
This position reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer in North America.
Partners with Marketing to co-own and co-create the Innovation pipeline that ignites top line revenue growth for North America
Leads and directs the North American Innovation team responsible for all beverage, packaging and dispense innovation and development activities for North America
Builds an external ecosystem of industry experts, suppliers, universities, and scouts for new technology / innovation capabilities to bring into Molson Coors that drive competitive advantage
Provides the direction and leadership for innovation process management tools / systems that build innovation capabilities
Assures the technical efficacy and commercial feasibility of new products, packages, or product improvements, acknowledging stakeholders’ requirements throughout supply chain
The Other Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Microbiology, Chemistry or other technical sciences
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Research & Development and innovation with the beverage and/or CPG industry
Significant experience leading teams in the delivery enterprise R&D / Innovation initiatives including product/brewing/beverage, packaging, dispense and cost improvement
Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations and Quality Standards strongly preferred
Experience in brewed beverages / technology strongly preferred
