As our Concert & Event Marketing Intern , you'll work part-time from July 2019-April 2020 assisting on various organizational initiatives. You will gain exposure to promotional strategy, event and project planning. What you'll do:
Providing marketing support for concerts, family shows and various events as needed.
Coordinating collateral material such as promotional pieces, schedules, calendars, monthly newsletter, etc.
Assisting with compilation of event finance settlement information.
Helping with Social Media efforts for all Rose Quarter events, including paid and organic posts.
Assisting with marketing, research, and design for concert/event promotional campaigns.
Assisting in the development of contests that grow permission-based databases.
Supporting with other department needs or administrative tasks such as data entry.
You are qualified if :
You are 18 years of age or older.
You are in the process or have recently earned a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Management.
You have 1-2 years marketing experience, preferred.
You have prior entertainment industry experience, preferred.
You can work part-time, flexible hours that could include nights, weekends and selected holidays.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and email marketing software(s).
You are knowledgeable in Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Our Digital Media & Content team is looking for Social Media Manager to join their growing content team. As Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day content production and channel management across Clippers-owned channels, with a focus on engaging and growing audiences across all of our social platforms. To be successful, you will effectively handle the message, tone, and content across each social platform, and broaden engagement of Clippers fans through creative, well-produced and well-timed content. You should also possess a deep understanding of how people digest and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and stay up-to-date on emerging platforms, industry trends, and best practices. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in and often take the lead on the ideation and production of social content and campaigns.
Be a catalyst to day-to-day social publishing and write in the defined voice and tone of team accounts.
Craft graphics and short-form video content for team social channels.
Demonstrate news judgment to curate, prioritize, and publish posts that are consistent with the team and brand message, but also with an eye to expand and engage the LA Clippers’ audience.
Attend and cover LA Clippers events, including home games, community initiatives, and other team events, with the goal to produce compelling content that captures fans attention.
Monitor and assess content/channel performance analytics, report progress to goals and critical metrics to leadership team, and recommend solutions or new types of content based on previous performance.
Monitor trends in organic, branded, and paid social media, all to inform a point-of-view and recommendation on how to best incorporate them into LA Clippers content strategies when meaningful.
2-4 years of experience in digital, marketing or content role preferred.
Deep understanding of how major social platforms work (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Tik Tok, etc.), and the ability to use each platform’s features effectively.
Strong visual eye with regard to the creation and curation of graphics, photography, and video for social publishing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is helpful.
Experience with social listening and analytics tools is preferred (CrowdTangle, TrackMaven, etc.)
Extraordinary attention to detail and organization skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
Willingness and ability to work game nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

The Chicago Bulls Corporate Partnerships department is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the new business processes for the organization. We are currently searching for a highly-engaged, collaborative individual with initiative who will play an active role in the research, pitch preparation and development of integrated corporate partnerships. Those partnerships include but are not limited to, signage, promotions, digital advertising, community programming, print advertising, IP rights, and corporate hospitality.
The principle function of this position is to research industry trends and develop category summaries & strategy to ensure the Corporate Partnership sales team engages early and often with all potential emerging categories. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role, you will support the team’s business development efforts, with a particular emphasis on developing the pipeline of prospects and needs analyses for the team. Additional responsibilities include:
Support the development of executive summaries that identify partner needs, objectives & goals and include any relevant information supporting an effective sales process.
Develop category summaries and competitive landscape maps to help inform category strategy for the sales team.
Consistently scan the advertising and sponsorship landscape to capture information from all available sources to qualify new opportunities.
Utilize trade periodicals, lead generation and reporting services to identify emerging new business opportunities.
Participate in internal meetings to present needs analysis with sales team to the Bulls agency team.

Involved in the servicing of Bulls and United Center clients all year long during regular office hours, at games and at various Bulls functions.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with senior executives employed by current and future Bulls corporate partners, and also with senior level executives within the organization.
Education / Experience: We are seeking a results driven, passionate, detailed oriented and dependable individual with a deep understanding of strategic account management and sponsorship. In addition, you may be a potential fit for this role if you have a mix of the following:
Minimum four-year college degree with a preferred one-year minimum of sponsorship experience
Proven prospector with a track record of securing initial meetings and phone calls
